Nasce “Infiniti Mondi”, la rivista bimestrale diretto da Massimiliano Amato

Sarà presentato giovedì 27 aprile, alle ore 17.30, presso l’aula magna del Convitto Nazionale “Torquato Tasso” in piazza Abate Conforti a Salerno, il Numero Zero di Infiniti Mondi, bimestrale di pensieri di libertà diretto da Massimiliano Amato e Gianfranco Nappi, da qualche settimana in distribuzione per abbonamento e nelle principali librerie della Campania,.

L’iniziativa è organizzata dall’Associazione “Infiniti Mondi”, che edita la rivista, in collaborazione con l’Associazione “Enrico Melchionda” di Salerno e la Società Salernitana di Storia Patria. I temi al centro del primo fascicolo animeranno il dibattito che, dopo l’introduzione dei responsabili della pubblicazione, vedrà i saluti del Rettore Magnifico dell’Università di Salerno, professor Aurelio Tommasetti, e del professor Alfonso Conte, docente dello stesso ateneo, e coordinatore dell’associazione “Enrico Melchionda”. Protagonisti del confronto saranno i professori Carmine Pinto e Luigi Rossi, dell’Università di Salerno, e il professor Giuseppe Cacciatore, dell’Università di Napoli Federico II, presidente della Società Salernitana di Storia Patria.

Infiniti Mondi intende contribuire a raccogliere idee, promuovere riflessioni, sviluppare confronti intorno ai temi di fondo della condizione umana contemporanea: la libertà, la pace, l’uguaglianza, la lotta alle povertà, la difesa dell’ambiente, una lettura critica dei paradigmi di sviluppo. I Mondi sono Infiniti, e infinita può essere la ricerca di Pensieri di Libertà. La scelta della testata è tutt’altro che casuale: la figura, l’opera, il pensiero di Giordano Bruno saranno più di semplici citazioni. Infiniti Mondi vuole mettere radicalmente in discussione l’assunto dominante secondo il quale questo sarebbe il migliore dei mondi possibili e quella attuale l’unica Storia possibile. E la vera sfida è rappresentata dall’ambizione di far partire dal Mezzogiorno la ricerca di nuove prospettive, per provare a rileggere da questa parte del Paese in gravissima sofferenza economica, sociale e civile, le dinamiche, i processi, le tendenze, i punti di criticità e contraddizione della modernità convulsa in cui siamo immersi.

Rivista laica ma aperta al confronto senza pregiudizi né ideologici né culturali, nel suo Numero Zero Infiniti Mondi propone, in primo piano, un lungo viaggio nella Chiesa di Papa Francesco, con contributi di don Tonino Palmese, don Aniello Tortora, Carlo Borgomeo, Pietro Folena, l’imam della moschea di San Marcellino Nasser Hidouri, e il racconto di alcune storie esemplari di “chiesa dal basso”, vicina agli ultimi e agli emarginati, in Campania, tra le quali l’esperienza, per tantissimi aspetti anticipatrice dell’apostolato di Bergoglio, di don Pietro Mari, per molti anni titolare della parrocchia del Volto Santo di Pastena, ricostruita da Pietro Ravallese, uno dei suoi “ragazzi”.

Infiniti Mondi ospita contributi, tra gli altri, di Ugo Leone, Gianni Cerchia, Carmine Pinto, Carmen Pellegrino, Pietro Greco, Roberto Rubino, Alfonso De Nardo, Leila El Houssi, Paolo Mauriello, mentre sull’attualità del pensiero di Giordano Bruno, e sulla sua straordinaria proiezione internazionale, riflette il traduttore in Brasile del Nolano, Luiz Carlos Bombassaro. In conclusione, un saggio di Gianfranco Nappi su “La contraddizione del nostro tempo”.

Le illustrazioni del Numero Zero sono di Rinedda, al secolo Rino Sorrentino, artista napoletano a cui si deve anche l’elegante concept grafico della rivista.
